Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Licenses/Certifications: CPA license.
• Experience: 8+ years of financial or accounting experience; 3+ years of leadership or project lead experience.
• Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting, reporting, and disclosure requirements; strong Excel and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for regulatory and financial reporting, including FERC, FPSC, and SEC filings.
• Coordinate, reconcile, and analyze financial statements for internal, SEC, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee monthly close, journal entries, consolidation, and variance analysis.
• Manage SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Lead a multifunctional team and drive process improvement in financial reporting.
• Prepare quarterly board materials and support external auditors and legal counsel.
