Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• CPA designation with 10+ years of relevant work experience (public accounting and/or SEC/banking/GSE).
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and banking/GSE industry best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to lead subcommittees or working groups and drive consensus on complex reporting matters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of CFR disclosures for quarterly and annual reports.
• Create and manage the CFR publication timeline and stakeholder distributions.
• Prepare/review technical research on financial reporting topics (derivatives, fair value, mortgage-backed securities, etc.).
• Manage task assignments and lead team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Evaluate disclosure effectiveness and processes; implement changes as needed.
• Lead the SCFS subcommittee to establish a CFR baseline for annual statements.
• Approve FRS data loads and Excel templates for CFR disclosures.
• Coordinate with OF-Hub and provide user support to FHLBanks.
