Job Description:
The Senior Manager, AML Financial Crime Risk Investigation (US) oversees/manages a team of specialized professionals in the analysis and/or investigation of TDBG AML, ATF, ABAC and Sanctions cases to minimize overall risks to the Bank, its customers and its employees.
FCRM Investigations is responsible for investigations of complex anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism finance, and insider risk matters resulting from law enforcement referrals, proactive initiatives, 314a/314b, and internal referrals.
The Senior Manager, AML Financial Crime Risk Investigation (US) develops and implements AML policies, oversees complex investigations into potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of AML regulations, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
The Senior Manager, AML Financial Crime Risk Investigation leads and manages a team of AML investigators and analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality investigations; develops, implements, and maintains AML policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial crime risks; oversees complex investigations into potential money laundering and other financial crimes; ensures compliance with all relevant AML regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements; identifies and develops strategies to address and mitigate financial crime risks; collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, to report findings and ensure compliance; prepares and presents detailed reports on investigative findings to executive management and regulatory authorities; and provides training and guidance to investigators and analysts on AML regulations, trends and typologies, and best practices.
