IDEXX is hiring a Senior Finance Manager for the Veterinary Software team, reporting to the Finance Director. The Finance Manager will develop strong relationships with senior leaders, partnering and guiding prioritization of high-return business initiatives. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, drive financial and process improvements, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a high degree of accountability.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing operational reports, providing financial support and analytical insights to internal business partners and finance senior management, and enabling the success of regional finance teams globally. You will manage a team supporting finance business partners, execute monthly financial closing exercises, develop and update financial forecasts, collaborate on meaningful metrics, and standardize reporting across all VSS product lines.

This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week at Global Campus in Westbrook, ME.

What you will be doing:

1. Act as a finance business partner to VSS leaders, developing plans for strategic initiatives.
2. Develop KPIs with SaaS metrics, dashboards, and incentive analyses to inform business decisions.
3. Complete monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting, ensuring controls and accuracy. Develop models for planning and forecasting.
4. Establish processes and timelines to meet deadlines and deliverables.
5. Consolidate and present global financial information to senior management, preparing updates and review materials.
6. Develop team capabilities through coaching and training, managing activities and performance.
7. Collaborate with regional finance teams to analyze financial outcomes, variance analysis, and reporting.
8. Automate current reporting processes.
9. Partner across regions to standardize and automate processes, developing expense dashboards.
10. Foster change, value diversity, challenge methods, and innovate insights into operations.
11. Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.
