Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Facilities & New Office Launch to drive multi-site expansion across PA, VA, NJ, MD and new markets. The role is hybrid with regular travel and home base in the Philadelphia area.

You will lead end-to-end clinic openings, coordinate with Real Estate, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Ops, IT, and Finance, and build scalable facilities playbooks to ensure safe, welcoming, and operational locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of multi-site facilities, expansion, or healthcare operations experience.
• Track record of end-to-end new site launches and vendor contracts.
• Experience directly managing and developing operational staff.
• Willingness to travel regularly across regional clinic locations.
• Nice to have healthcare or behavioral health clinic expansion experience.
• Direct experience with commercial real estate leases, local permitting, or ADA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive End-to-End Clinic Launches: Own the cross-functional execution of new office openings from site selection through Day 1 patient readiness, establishing operational frameworks and leading post-launch reviews to continually refine Blackbird's expansion playbook.
• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Partners: Collaborate with Real Estate, Talent Acquisition, Clinical Leadership, IT, Marketing, and Rev Cycle to align provider hiring, credentialing, patient scheduling, and site setup for on-time clinic launches.
• Elevate Clinic & Facilities Operations: Direct ongoing facilities operations, preventative maintenance, safety standards, and clinic refreshes, establishing clear SLAs and vendor performance expectations across all established locations.
• Lead Regional Teams & Support Scaling: Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of regional Facilities Coordinators while overseeing asset standards and operational budgets to support long-term expansion.

Position Summary

Blackbird Health is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Facilities & New Office Launch to lead our physical footprint expansion across Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland and new 2027 markets. You will lead the end-to-end execution of new clinic openings, from site selection through post-launch stabilization, while directing regional facilities operations and building scalable systems to ensure every location is safe, welcoming, and operationally excellent. This is a hybrid position, with regular onsite travel to our clinic locations. Your home base should be in the Philadelphia metro area.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Lead Regional Teams & Support Scaling: Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of regional Facilities Coordinators while overseeing asset standards (FF&E, signage, supplies) and operational budgets to support long-term expansion.

The basics you'll need:

7+ years of multi-site facilities, expansion, or healthcare operations experience.

Track record of successfully managing end-to-end new site launches and vendor contracts.

Experience directly managing and developing operational staff.

Willingness to travel regularly across regional clinic locations.

Nice to have:

Experience in healthcare or behavioral health clinic expansion.

Direct experience with commercial real estate leases, local permitting, or ADA compliance.

Salary Range

$105,000 - $115,000 USD
