What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Manager on our Next Gen team, you will serve clients at a high level and lead a team through sophisticated trust and estate planning needs. This is more than basic estate planning - it involves working with stakeholders including outside attorneys, the client, and other professionals to determine valuation of companies, deed research, cash flow analysis, real estate, mineral interests, entity formation, addressing succession issues, and serving as a key point of contact for all necessary client plan implementation.

Collaborate with leaders across the firm to deliver accurate and high-quality planning. You’ll work with a diverse group of business owners from various industries to implement estate plans and work on entity reorganization.

Minimum Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in trust, estate planning, probate, and fiduciary matters
  • Technical skills including experience with passthrough entities, entity selection and reorganization, transaction modeling, cash flow planning, and understanding tax reporting requirements
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and legal documents
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be located in the US and not eligible for sponsorship
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Juris Doctorate with M&A experience and contract drafting
  • Experience with estate and trust compliance returns
  • Knowledge of partnership and S corporation issues, reorganizations, mergers, asset transfers, and transition planning
Benefits and Compensation

Remote, hybrid, or in-office work environment. Path to Principal/Owner. Competitive pay ($125,000 to $200,000), benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401k, holidays, flexible work arrangements, and paid leave.

Additional Details

This position is US-Remote Eligible, with occasional office work or offsite attendance. Must live in a state where Pinion has a registered entity. Application deadline: 5/16/2025.
