Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is seeking an Assistant Director of Employer Relations to cultivate and manage relationships with employers, oversee internships and job opportunities for students and alumni, and lead events and workshops within the Career Development team. You will partner with faculty, students, and external partners to align industry needs with MICA programs.

Analyze employer engagement, recruiting activity, and career outcomes.
Build connections between employers, faculty, and departments for sponsored projects.
Manage MICA network and data-driven employer tracking system.
Design and coordinate networking events, information sessions, and career fairs.
Deliver workshops on career readiness topics and AI tools in career development.
Provide career advising to students and alumni as part of the Career Development team.
