Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of content lifecycles, governance, publishing workflows, content models, taxonomy, metadata, personalization, and AI-ready content practices.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional implementations across content, UX, technology, publishing, and channel teams, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Experience establishing content-readiness criteria, operational measures, reporting, and continuous-improvement practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, planning, and execution skills, with the ability to drive alignment and organizational adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Content & Experience Delivery.
  • Define and evolve Schwab's content authoring model for Marketing.
  • Establish scalable authoring workflows that support structured and modular content.
  • Define delivery requirements, standards, best practices, and quality expectations for marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify content creation and maintenance.
  • Own the Authoring Experience for Marketing.
  • Partner with UX, Engineering, and Technology teams to improve authoring usability.
  • Define author requirements, workflows, preview capabilities, and authoring tools.
  • Champion marketing needs and advocate for improved content management experiences.
  • Validate that content solutions support efficient workflows, tracking, reporting and optimization.
  • Content Delivery & Activation
  • Lead content production readiness across major initiatives.
  • Establish approaches for content assembly, variation management, reuse and traceability.
  • Coordinate content readiness and activation across digital channels, including web & mobile, in partnership with channel and publishing teams.
  • Ensure content is production-ready and aligned with standards and governance requirements.
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Define authoring workflow success measures and operational KPIs.
  • Monitor workflow effectiveness and content-production efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve speed-to-market, quality, and reuse.
  • Leverage implementation learnings to continuously refine authoring practices.
  • Produce delivery-level reporting and case studies that demonstrate improvements in authoring efficiency, content readiness, reuse and speed to market.
  • Provide implementation insights for consolidated leadership reporting and value realization.
  • Support Content Production for Critical Digital Marketing Initiatives
  • Establish content and experience delivery requirements and production processes for multiple channels.
  • Partner with content owners and business stakeholders on content implementation planning and editorial calendars.
  • Lead content authoring readiness and activation activities.
  • Support content migration, content assembly, quality validation, and post-launch improvements.
  • Leadership & Partnership
  • Partner closely with IS, AS, WS Content & Experience teams and Content Operations leads to activate content standards and structures through intuitive authoring experiences and scalable production practices.
  • Serve as the primary partner for Authoring and content requirements working with Marketing content owners, agencies, publishing teams, activation and technology partners.

The Senior Manager, Content & Experience Delivery will lead the evolution of Schwab's digital marketing content authoring model, enabling marketers to efficiently create, assemble, manage, optimize, and activate content across digital experiences.

As part of the Digital Content Supply Chain & Orchestration team, this lead will partner closely with content operations and digital content & experience teams to ensure modern content practices and workflows are successfully activated through intuitive authoring experiences and scalable production practices.

This role will play a key leadership role in a site rebuild initiative establishing evergreen, repeatable authoring practices that support future digital experiences across Schwab channels and lines of business.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • Experience leading digital content production, authoring, CMS implementation, content migration, or large-scale website modernization initiatives.
