Job summary

Medical City Denton seeks a Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to lead the radiology department, oversee staffing, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires clinical leadership, regulatory acumen, and the ability to drive workflow improvements across imaging services.

The ideal candidate has extensive radiology management experience, strong coaching abilities, and a commitment to ethical patient care.

Qualifications

• BCLS required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience; 5 preferred.
• ARRT-R Radiography required.
• Associate Degree required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer licensed by Texas State Medical Board required.
• Minimum 5 years management in Radiology preferred; 3 years required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage and cultivate a high‑performing team.
• Coaching/mentoring skills to develop staff and support growth.
• Visible, hands-on leadership with strong department presence.
• Collaborate across departments to drive process improvements in imaging workflows.
• Occasional schedule flexibility.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and run staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of healthcare services assisting in diagnosis and treatment.
• Directs human and physical resources to achieve standard of care in Radiologic sciences.
• Exercises professional judgment supporting medical ethics.
• Ensures patient care management adapts to changing operations .
• Monitors departmental operations to comply with regulations and accrediting standards.
