Join to apply for the Senior Manager - Development Reporting & Forecasting (Remote Eligible) role at Inspire.

The Senior Manager, Development Reporting and Forecasting leads the strategy, execution, transformation, and continuous improvement of reports and forecasts of key Domestic Franchise Development information flows. The outputs of these reports are mission critical to enabling Inspire’s goals for Net Unit Growth and Remodels across all brands. The role is also responsible for communicating key outputs to leadership across the organization through a variety of methods, including contributing to Development presentations for Inspire executive leadership, various Brand leadership teams, and the Board of Directors. In addition to reporting, this role will be central in developing forecasting recommendations for Development KPIs throughout the year and for Inspire’s Long-Range Plan.

This role is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of Development data, involving extensive collaboration with stakeholders across the Domestic Franchise Development function (including Construction, Real Estate, and Franchise Services) and with cross-functional stakeholders such as ICR, International Development, Finance, Legal, Data & Analytics, Development IT Team, and Brand Operations. This role will oversee and execute a wide array of reports that provide transparency to ensure new site and remodel deliverables are correctly accounted for throughout key Development systems that feed into enterprise-wide systems supporting business performance reporting.

Responsibilities
  1. Budget & Forecast Coordination: Lead and support the Domestic Franchise Development budgeting and forecasting, including non-financial KPIs such as restaurant openings, commitments, and remodels; actual vs. budget/forecast tracking; data reconciliation and ongoing reporting.
  2. Reporting Transformation & Maintenance: Lead modernization efforts for Development reporting, including designing, building, maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualization in partnership with the Development IT Team to communicate insights effectively.
  3. Long Range Planning: Support and lead Development Long Range Planning activities, including pipeline and Restaurant Optimization Process (ROP) data reconciliation.
  4. Decision and Data Quality Support: Make informed judgments based on data quality and viability.
  5. High-Level Communication: Support creation of executive presentations with reliable data; prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  6. People Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of specialists and analysts.
  7. Change Management: Lead training and communication related to reporting tools, dashboards, and processes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or similar.
  • Preferred Education: Master's in Business, Finance, Accounting, Development, Real Estate, or Construction.
Experience
  • Minimum Experience: 1-2 years in Franchise Development reporting, forecasting, analytics, or financial management; 3+ years with a Retail or Restaurant chain franchisor.
  • Preferred Experience: 1+ years at Inspire Brands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven experience in data preparation and reconciliation across systems.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of data governance and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Business and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with data tools like Alteryx, SQL, VBA.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce reports, and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of platforms like Tango/GDI, Lucernex, Sitewise, FRM.
