Itero Group seeks a Senior Manager, Data Solutions Engineering (Tax & Accounting) to lead enterprise data modernization. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with mentoring, guiding data teams, and delivering scalable cloud-based data solutions for financial services clients.

You’ll design ELT/ETL architectures, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive architecture decisions while steering multi-project delivery and ensuring client success.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience with progression into technical leadership or engineering management.
• 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake development experience.
• Experience mentoring data engineers or delivery teams.
• Experience managing technical workstreams, priorities, dependencies, deliverables, and quality.

The ideal candidate combines deep hands- on experience withSnowflake,Databricks,SQL,Python,andenterprisedataengineeringwiththeabilitytoleadandmentortechnicalteams,manageprioritiesanddeliverables,andworkdirectlywithclientstakeholders.Experiencewithaccounting,tax,finance,orrelatedenterpriseplatformsishighlydesirable.

KeyResponsibilities

• Leadthedesign,development,andimplementationofclientsolutionsusingSnowflakeandDatabricks.
• Serveasahands-ontechnicallead,contributingdirectlytodevelopmentwhileprovidingtechnicaldirection,guidanceandmentoringtootherteammembersincludingengineers.
• Helpmanageteampriorities,technicalassignments,deliverables,anddependenciestoensureworkiscompletedefficientlyandonschedule.
• BuildandoptimizeELT/ETLprocessestoingestandtransformdatafrommultiplecomplexenterprisesystems.
• Workwithlargevolumesofcomplexstructured,semi-structured,andlogdatatoidentifypatterns,troubleshootissues,determinerootcauses,anddevelopfasterandmoreefficientsolutions.
• OptimizeSnowflakeandDatabrickssolutionsforperformance,scalability,reliability,andcost.
• DevelopsolutionsutilizingSnowpark,storedprocedures,streams,tasks,anddynamictableswhereappropriate.
• Partnerdirectlywithbusinessandtechnologystakeholderstounderstandcomplexreporting,accounting,tax,andanalyticalrequirementsandtranslatethemintoscalabletechnicalsolutions.
• BuildreusabledataframeworkssupportingAccounting,Tax,Finance,Risk,Compliance,Treasury,andRegulatoryReporting.
• Leadoractivelyparticipateinsolutiondesignsessions,sprintplanning,backloggrooming,technicalreviews,andotherAgileceremonies.

RequiredQualifications

• 8+yearsofDataEngineeringexperience,withdemonstratedprogressionintoatechnicallead,teamlead,orengineeringmanagementrole.
• 4+yearsofhands-onSnowflakedevelopmentexperience.
• Demonstratedexperienceleadingandmentoringdataengineersortechnicaldeliveryteams.

• ExperiencewithcloudplatformsincludingAzureand/orAWS;GCPexperienceisaplus.
• Experiencewithdbt,Airflow,Git,andCI/CD;Terraformexperiencepreferred.
• ExperiencewithRESTAPIsandenterprisedataintegration.
• Strongtroubleshooting,performancetuning,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Experienceworkingwithaccounting,tax,finance,orrelatedenterpriseplatformsanddatasetsstronglypreferred.
