Job Summary:

L’Oréal USA is looking for a highly motivated and data-driven data analyst to join our dynamic data team. This role will play a key part in revolutionizing our financial reporting and analysis capabilities by developing and maintaining interactive, insightful Power BI dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data visualization, and a proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization to understand their reporting needs and deliver impactful solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators
• Collaborate with finance (global and local) and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure dashboards meet analytical needs
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various financial systems and databases into Power BI
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of reported data
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize and interpret the dashboards
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and enhancements to existing dashboards and reporting processes
• Develop and maintain documentation for all developed dashboards, including data sources, calculations, and business logic
• Support the generation of insights from data
• Leverage knowledge of analytics trends, best-in-class BI visualizations, technology developments, and practices to enhance the value of tools and services for the function
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust data governance framework for financial reporting
• Develop and maintain a strong working collaboration with BI Community teams and IT partners within the division and across L’Oreal USA
• Be a strong contributor to the Global Finance Analytics community
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, reporting, and solution development
• Strong technical skills in Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, and data visualization tools
• Experience designing and building dashboards in PowerBI
• Understand Machine Learning Algorithms (Nice to Have)
• Expertise in data integration, data modeling, and analytics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with large datasets and complex data structures.
• Capacity to understand business, ask the right questions, and be understandable by non tech / non data savvy stakeholders – so mix of DATA and EMPATHY
• Will and capacity to grow business (growth hacker mindset)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary Range :$ 117,400 – $167,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
