Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the enterprise BCDR and cyber-resilience program.
• Establish and govern business-impact analyses, recovery tiers, RTOs and RPOs.
• Assess recovery capabilities across data centers, cloud environments, applications, storage, backup and infrastructure.
• Develop recovery strategies, standards, runbooks, testing requirements and remediation roadmaps.
• Lead tabletop exercises, failover testing and recovery-readiness reviews.
• Coordinate infrastructure, security, application, manufacturing, business and vendor teams during exercises and disruptions.
• Integrate cyber-incident and ransomware recovery planning with broader business-continuity processes.
• Track gaps, risks, dependencies and corrective actions through completion.
• Provide executive reporting on program maturity and recovery readiness.

CMK Resources is seeking a Manager of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Resilience for a large global technology and manufacturing organization undergoing significant infrastructure modernization.

This individual will lead and mature the enterprise BCDR program across data centers, cloud platforms, applications, infrastructure, security and business operations. The position requires someone who understands the technology behind recovery while also providing program governance, coordinating global stakeholders and communicating risk to executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has directly owned enterprise continuity and disaster-recovery initiatives within a large, complex organization. Broader infrastructure or cybersecurity leaders may also qualify if they have meaningful ownership of recovery strategy, testing and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise business-continuity, disaster-recovery or cyber-resilience programs.
• Experience supporting a large, global and highly available technology environment.
• Direct experience with BIAs, RTO/RPO governance, recovery planning and recurring testing.
• Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure, including data centers, public cloud, applications, networking, storage, backup and virtualization.
• Experience leading tabletop exercises, failover tests, recovery simulations or actual disaster-recovery events.
• Ability to evaluate technical recovery designs and challenge engineering teams on resiliency, dependencies and recovery readiness.
• Experience coordinating geographically distributed infrastructure, security, application and business teams.
• Strong executive communication, program governance and risk-reporting skills.
• Understanding of incident, problem and change-management practices.

Preferred Experience

• Cyber-recovery experience involving ransomware or another major security incident.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat hunting and security-incident-response processes.
• Experience within semiconductor, manufacturing, regulated or other 24/7 operational environments.
• Experience building or materially transforming a global BCDR program.
• Knowledge of cloud-region recovery, immutable backup, isolated recovery environments and recovery orchestration.
• Previous people-management experience or leadership of large matrixed global programs.
