Position Summary
Walmart Creative Studio is the in-house creative agency for Walmart. Our team develops innovative design systems and creative strategies that align with business objectives and maintain our Fortune #1 brand presence. What you'll do
- Remove production roadblocks and coordinate with cross-functional partners to create effective timelines and processes for production workstreams.
- Collaborate with internal Walmart Creative Studio and external agency teams, in-house marketers, and finance partners to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Communicate project status clearly with stakeholders and marketing managers, serving as the production subject matter expert.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, make tradeoffs, and maintain a positive attitude throughout projects.
- Work with legal and business affairs teams to build contracts, secure rights, assess risks, and clear work for distribution.
- Bid, hire, and manage production partners for content projects, including shoots, post-production, animation, and digital content.
- Oversee producers across different work streams and optimize production efficiency.
- Establish production guidelines and playbooks for all content developed by Walmart marketing.
- Continuously review and improve production processes for effectiveness.
- Provide on-set governance and IP feedback during reviews.
- Collaborate with senior managers and analysts on reviewing bids and awarding productions.
- Implement repeatable processes for planning and managing multiple projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for video, photography, and motion design projects, working closely with creative teams to clarify requirements.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years of experience as a producer in video/motion, print, social, and advertising.
- 4+ years leading project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
- Extensive contacts in photography, motion, and post-production industries.
- An online portfolio demonstrating creative solutions across production issues.
- Experience across the production lifecycle from capture to multi-channel deployment.
- Strong understanding of production processes for TV, print, OOH, digital videos, web, mobile, social, and experiential media.
- Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams with designers, account managers, and project managers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of photo, video, and animation work.
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience of 8+ years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing or creative agencies, or in-house marketing teams.
- Background in the retail or eCommerce industries.
