Job description

This position performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations for senior management. Provides oversight for generating forecasts and analyzing trends throughout the enterprise. You will report to a VP.

In this flex office/home role, you are expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110.

Position Compensation Range:

$125,000.00 - $214,000.00

Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities
  1. Develop effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  2. Use relationships to collaborate with clients on projects and other work with a financial impact to positively influence results.
  3. Provide appropriate leadership and advice for client projects to help meet objectives and optimize financial decisions.
  4. Oversee financial analysis to ensure appropriateness, consistency, timeliness, and accuracy.
  5. Present information and explain results in various formats to senior and executive leadership.
  6. Ensure development of performance metrics for large projects with material financial impact.
  7. Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
  8. Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership. Communicate and support organizational mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
  • Experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Extensive experience consulting on financial impacts of business decisions.
  • Experience in GAAP, Statutory, or management reporting.
  • Knowledge of advanced analysis techniques and problem-solving approaches.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and management reporting.
