Job summary

FlixBus is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications & PR to lead external communications for FlixBus and Greyhound from our Dallas office. This hands-on role requires crafting compelling narratives, shaping media pitches, and guiding executives through interviews and public appearances.

You will manage media relations, develop integrated plans for launches, and drive innovation in how we reach audiences across formats and channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• 7+ years in corporate communications or PR with a strong track record supporting consumer brands.
• Exceptional writer with sharp journalistic instincts; know what makes a story newsworthy and how to tell it across channels.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute proactive media strategies to strengthen visibility for FlixBus and Greyhound across top outlets.
• Translate complex business priorities into compelling narratives and develop integrated communications plans for launches and news moments.
• Write and edit press releases, pitches, talking points, op-eds, speeches, social posts, and web content.
• Manage corporate social channels (LinkedIn, X) with a focus on relevance and thought leadership.
• Prepare executives for media interviews and speaking engagements, and identify strategic platform opportunities.
• Lead issues management and crisis communications, monitoring news and social conversations to anticipate risks.
• Drive communications innovation by staying ahead of shifts in how audiences discover information, including AI.
