Job summary

Flix North America seeks a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications & PR to drive external communications for FlixBus and Greyhound. You will shape how our brands appear in media and public discourse, translating business priorities into compelling narratives across formats.

You will lead proactive media strategies, craft pitches, and coach executives for media appearances, while managing social channels and monitoring industry conversations to safeguard brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• 7+ years in corporate communications or PR, with consumer brands exposure.
• Strong writing with journalistic instincts; know what makes a story newsworthy.
• Proven media relations with established journalist relationships and earned coverage.
• Experience in executive communications, coaching leaders for media appearances.
• Skilled in issues/crisis management with good judgment under pressure.
• Proficient with editorial calendars, media monitoring tools, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute proactive media strategies to strengthen visibility for FlixBus and Greyhound.
• Translate complex priorities into compelling narratives and develop integrated comms plans.
• Write and edit press releases, pitches, talking points, op-eds, speeches, social posts, and web content.
• Manage corporate social channels with focus on relevance and thought leadership.
• Prepare executives for media interviews and public appearances; identify platform opportunities.
• Lead issues management and crisis communications; monitor news and social conversations.
• Pilot tools and AI-driven approaches to expand reach and team effectiveness.
