Qualifications

• Technically strong accounting professional.
• Ownership of technical accounting projects including memos and disclosures.
• Experience evaluating acquisitions, business combinations and complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical accounting resource, researching and evaluating complex accounting matters and developing well-supported conclusions.
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums, position papers, financial statement disclosures, and other reporting documentation.
• Take ownership of accounting around acquisitions, business combinations, purchase accounting, goodwill and impairment analyses, revenue recognition, lease accounting, debt, equity, derivatives.
• Partner with business units and corporate accounting teams to understand transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment and presentation.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and advise on impact and implementation.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal leadership to support conclusions and smooth year-end processes.
• Partner with Workday implementation team to ensure processes support reporting objectives.
• Support Controller and CFO on special projects and other high-impact accounting matters.
