Zoox is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Contingent Workforce and Travel programs in Foster City, CA. You will scale global teams, drive governance, compliance, and partnerships with suppliers, HR, finance, and legal to ensure seamless program execution.

You will champion data-driven decisions, modernize policies and systems, and deliver an excellent hiring manager experience while controlling costs and ensuring audit-ready processes across T&E and contingent talent.

Job description

Zoox is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for the Contingent Workforce & Travel team. In this role you will lead and scale our Contingent Workforce and Travel programs. This leader will drive operational excellence, process improvements, and strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and the hiring manager experience. The role requires close partnership with Suppliers, Business Leaders, Recruiting, HR, Procurement, Finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless program execution.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to drive the strategic direction and operational excellence of Zoox’s expanding contingent workforce and global travel programs. You will champion compliance, fiscal discipline, and world-class stakeholder experiences as the organization scales domestically and globally.

You will continually ensure operational efficiency through the use of data.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and scale global teams overseeing Contingent Workforce Management and Corporate Travel & Expense operations.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience managing contingent workforce programs, preferably in a Hi-Tech, high-growth or complex environment.
• 7+ years of experience leading teams, with a strong ability to develop and mentor direct reports.
• Expertise in contingent workforce strategy, operations, and compliance, including worker classifications and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in managing an MSP, business partnerships, vendor management, and optimizing external partnerships.
• Extensive experience with VMS platforms (e.g., VNDLY, Beeline, Fieldglass) and an understanding of system configurations and reporting/analytics.
• Strong operational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus qualifications

• Experience with financial tools and budget management related to contingent workforce programs.
• Experience with scaling organizations in a super fast-paced environment
• Proven experience leading and scaling end-to-end global corporate travel and expense (T&E) programs.
• Prior experience in an agency recruitment or staffing environment, meeting high-volume delivery targets,

$245,000 - $294,000 a year

Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
