Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead programs from concept to execution with defined scope, schedule and budget. You will coordinate with the sponsor and manage day-to-day communications with stakeholders and vendors, guiding teams of program managers and coordinators.

Ideal candidates bring deep program management expertise, strong leadership, and proficiency with Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and other Office tools.

Position Summary

As a Senior Program Manager you are responsible for successfully managing your assigned Programs/Initiatives to a defined scope, schedule and budget. Senior Program Managers collaborate directly with the Program Sponsor to define scope, develop project plans and create budgets. You will lead the coordination of day-to-day sponsor/stakeholder communications. Senior Program Managers typically manage programs with a capital budget of $1M - $50M. Sr. Program Managers report to the Director of Construction Program Management and manages a team of Program Managers and Program Coordinators consisting of about 3-8 employees and/or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Program requirements from the Sponsor to the applicable internal and external stakeholders, field based execution teams and third-party vendors.
• Actively manage the full lifecycle of Programs from concept to execution.
• Maintain frequent and direct contact with the Sponsor; become a trusted advisor managing expectations, ensuring satisfaction, measuring and reporting on Program execution performance, and proactively promoting Client satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Utilize the CVS Health and Capital Project Planning/Program Management tools to efficiently maintain Project lists and pipelines, communicate to the teams, establish and measure milestones and deadlines, as appropriate per CVS Health standards and practices.
• Define scope, develop project plans, create budgets, and lead the coordination and day-to-day sponsor/stakeholder communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience with Web-Based applications such as: Tririga SAP Ariba PeopleSoft Education Bachelor Degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), or Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 - $165,954.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
