Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC in Texas seeks a Community Relations & Outreach professional to develop member outreach and education programs, coordinating cultural competency and member materials across STAR, CHIP and STAR Kids populations. You will oversee the implementation and evaluation of communications, design health materials, plan statewide outreach events, and manage budgets.

This role requires travel within Texas and occasional evening events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• 4–6 years of marketing, communications, or public relations experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with public speaking, copywriting and design highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day work function of the Community Relations & Outreach department.
• Oversee implementation and evaluation of the plan’s communication program while promoting the company and each product line.
• Design, revise, and review health-related materials distributed to members, ensuring content readability and accurate translations as needed.
• Develop and implement statewide initiatives including outreach events, healthcare education, and incentive programs.
• Assist with budget development in coordination with compliance and report financial impact to Senior management.
• Travel to communities to establish and maintain strategic relationships.
• Lead the facilitation of member/provider council meetings.
• Assist with provision of Medicare coverage and services.
