Qualifications

• Ability to evaluate complex financial statements and determine the value of privately held business interests.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Leadership: Manage a portfolio of private investments, including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations, performing investment reviews, developing recommendations, and determining valuations.
• Portfolio Management & Valuation: Evaluate private investments and determine valuations for fiduciary and fee-related purposes.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements to assess risk and determine value of closely held interests.
• Corporate Actions & Transactions: Evaluate proxy votes, reorganizations, and asset sale decisions, including documentation.
• Client & Advisor Engagement: Communicate with clients and advisors regarding performance and strategy.
• Risk & Fiduciary Governance: Align decisions with governing documents and regulatory requirements; coordinate with risk/legal/compliance.
• Subject Matter Expertise & Team Development: Mentor junior team members in closely held assets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal partners on complex investment matters and risk mitigation.
• Other Duties: Support team and adapt to new priorities as needed.
