Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks a Senior Manager for its Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory Practice in Hartford, CT. You will lead a team focused on Inflation Reduction Act Energy Credits and clean energy tax credit transactions, driving monetization and market growth.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in tax planning or returns, CPA/EA or in progress, and strong modeling and communication skills. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of HLBV accounting concepts.
• CPA/EA or in process, or other certification.
• Financial modeling expertise.
• Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the renewable energy practice with a small high-skill team.
• Structure and monetize clean energy tax credit transactions.
• Provide tax equity investment consulting and market presence through webinars and articles.
• Collaborate with tax partners and external brokers.
