You will influence opportunities with the Sales team, translate complex data into actionable recommendations, and present insights persuasively to drive the Beer category forward in a competitive market.

$106,400 - $126,350, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

We are looking for a Sr. CategoryManager in Chicago, ILwith a passion for the Beer Industry. This position will work in a team environment with a focus ondeveloping insights,identifyingopportunitiesand communicating recommendations to lead future industry growth to our internal partners and external retail customers.Searching for an individual who takes ownership of their work and always pushes themselves and others to reach higher and achieve more.
Build strong relationship with retailer as trusted Category advisor across all areas of the Beer business
Develop impactful category analyses and consumer insights using a range of syndicated and non-syndicated data sources
Synthesize learnings from various sources to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
Effectively educate internal teammates and external customers on growth opportunities through clear and impactful communications
Partner with Sales team to engage external retailer buying team in defined territories with goal ofidentifyingopportunities to grow the Beer category
Required Qualifications:
Must be local to Chicago, IL
Strong passion for the Beer industry
Bachelor’s degreehighly preferred
Moderate to AdvancedproficiencyutilizingMicrosoft Excel tomanipulate and organizedata
Moderate to AdvancedproficiencyutilizingMicrosoftPowerPointtoorganize and visualize the story line for presentations
Ability to understand information, develop insights andidentifyopportunities when analyzing large data sets
Ability to translate findings and recommendations into a concise and effective selling story
Ability to confidently presentinsights,opportunitiesand recommendationsto internal or external stakeholdersin a persuasive manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Category Management or Sales experience inconsumer packagedgoods industry
Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (Circana, Nielsen,etc.)
Strong familiarity withshopper panel information data,softwareand measures(Circana, Nielsen,Numerator, Retailer Loyalty data,etc.)
Shelf management and planogram creation experience (JDA, Apollo, etc.)preferred
