We are committed to clinical excellence, local leadership, and supporting veterinary professionals at every stage of their careers. Our future starts with today's students—and we’re looking for someone to help lead that charge.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Early Career DVM Recruitment to lead PetVet’s national veterinary student recruitment and engagement strategy. This role is critical to building and maintaining a strong pipeline of future veterinarians and reinforcing PetVet’s position as an employer of choice for new graduates.

The Senior Manager will drive strategic campus partnerships, student-facing programming, and externship coordination, while leading a team of campus recruiters. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between PetVet and veterinary schools across the country, ensuring our presence, programs, and messaging reflect our commitment to mentorship, career growth, and clinical excellence.

This is a high-impact role that blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the veterinary education landscape, a passion for student development, and the ability to build relationships that drive long-term recruitment success. A veterinary degree (DVM) or background is strongly preferred to effectively connect with the veterinary academic community and communicate the clinical value proposition of PetVet’s nationwide network.

A key component of this role will be leading successful onboarding efforts and working collaboratively with clinical leaders to ensure a consistent, supportive, and impactful mentorship experience for new graduates transitioning into practice. This individual will help shape the first impressions and long-term success of early-career veterinarians across the network.

By joining PetVet, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of veterinary medicine, lead a growing and purpose-driven team, and make a meaningful impact on the careers of emerging veterinary professionals nationwide.

  • Partner with center teams to ensure meaningful clinical and mentorship experiences for students.
  • Lead successful onboarding efforts for new graduate veterinarians, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into clinical practice.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leaders to design and deliver consistent, high-quality mentorship experiences across the network.
  • Support early-career veterinarians in their development by creating a structured, supportive environment that promotes long-term success and retention.
  • Shape first impressions and foundational experiences, playing a key role in the professional growth and satisfaction of our newest DVMs.

Branding & Outreach

  • Work with marketing and branding teams to develop compelling student-facing content, including social media campaigns, event materials, and digital resources.
  • Ensure consistent messaging around PetVet’s value proposition, mentorship culture, and career pathways.
