Job summary

Outrider Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Autonomous Vehicle Assembly Operations to lead end-to-end upfit, assembly, and integration of production-ready autonomous trucks.

You will own the blueprint and translate it into day-to-day execution with safety, quality, and cost accountability. The role requires scaling from low-volume builds to commercial production, managing a team of technicians, and coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in assembly, production, manufacturing engineering, or advanced manufacturing of vehicles or complex hardware.
• 3+ years leading manufacturing or technician teams.
• Experience in automotive, EVs, autonomous vehicles, or similarly complex hardware.
• ISO 9001 manufacturing and quality processes experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end conversion of base electric trucks into integrated Outrider autonomous vehicles.
• Develop and execute the assembly roadmap for scaling to commercial production.
• Lead daily assembly operations and a high-performing team to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals.
• Design and optimize process flow, line layout, tooling, staffing, and footprint.
• Establish standard work, training programs, and production documentation.
• Partner with OEMs and contract manufacturers for scalable processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production planning and cost efficiency.
• Oversee Outrider facilities.
