Job summary

Outrider is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment at our Advanced Testing Facility. You will lead hands-on testing of autonomous trucks, schedule missions, monitor tools in real time, and perform root-cause analyses on issues found during testing.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technical testing or a related field, experience with autonomous or robotic systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA degree or higher preferred or 2+ years in a similar technical discipline.
• Experience testing automotive, aerospace, autonomous vehicle or industrial automation products.
• Experience in R&D, system testing, or engineering environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute system test missions on autonomous trucks and subsystems to verify performance and safety.
• Lead day-to-day test activities, schedule and launch missions, monitor software tools in real time.
• Document issues with root-cause analyses and provide test data for engineering teams.
• Assist in safety inspections and communicate results to Test Operations and Engineering teams.
