A leading company is seeking an Audit Manager to oversee audit engagements, applying U.S. GAAP and GAAS standards. The role includes evaluating audit requirements, identifying risks, and providing guidance to team members. Qualified candidates will hold a relevant Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with significant experience and an active CPA license.
Apply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards.
Evaluate audit requirements for clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Identify accounting and audit risks. Write audit reports and present findings to clients and upper management. Assess the effectiveness of client audit processes and controls. Identify opportunities for performance improvement for assigned clients. Prepare audit proposals and expand the client base by identifying growing portfolios. Provide training and guidance on audit methodology and U.S. GAAP technical accounting. Offer technical guidance and performance feedback to team members. Assist with account administration tasks such as billing, fee analysis, and new service development. Lead and direct audit engagements. Develop business opportunities. Support client relationships and build professional networks.
WORK SCHEDULE : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Must hold a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with 3 years of relevant work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields, with 7 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years of progressive post-bachelor's experience.
Must have an active PA CPA license.
At least 3 years of experience in overseeing audit engagements, developing and executing audit strategies, applying U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards, testing accounting procedures, and communicating findings to clients and management.
Travel to various locations across the U.S. up to 50%. International travel up to 5%.
