Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Senior Manager - Application Development in Draper, UT to lead the Application Development and Power Platform teams. You will drive modernization, cloud strategy, and platform governance while guiding architecture, security, and CI/CD practices across engineering groups.

You will partner with executives to align priorities, manage budgets, and oversee AI‑enabled development initiatives and automation projects to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years in software engineering, application development, platform engineering, or related tech field.
• 5+ years managing software engineering or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams with performance, staffing, and resources management.
• Create roadmaps for application modernization, cloud adoption, automation, AI, and Power Platform.
• Establish architecture, engineering, security, testing, quality, and governance standards.
• Drive Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, platform engineering, and AI-assisted development.
• Oversee Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and related platform capabilities.
• Partner with business/tech leaders to align priorities and delivery plans.
• Track delivery, quality, reliability, adoption, productivity, and operational performance.
• Manage vendors, budgets, risks, compliance, and service expectations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve processes and outcomes.
