Job summary

The ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in North Carolina seeks a Senior Manager of Placement Programs to oversee adoption and placement for graduates, working across the Behavior, Operations, and Medical teams. This in-person, senior leadership role reports to the Senior Director, Operations and includes direct supervision of the Coordinator, Adoptions and Placement.

You will develop placement strategies, manage partnerships, and ensure high-quality experiences for adopters and graduates,

Qualifications

• Companion animal behavior and animal welfare knowledge required.
• Experience coordinating and leading teams in a shelter or animal welfare setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement direct adoption program enhancements to move graduates into adoptive homes.
• Provide direct oversight to Coordinator, Adoptions and Placement and ensure SOPs and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Behavior and Operations teams to understand graduates and support placement efforts.
• Lead and mentor the placement team and coordinate with shelter partners for successful adoptions.
