Job summary

ASPCA is seeking a Senior Manager of Placement Programs to oversee the contract-driven adoption and placement process for graduates from the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in Weaverville, NC. You will work with shelter operations, medicine and animal behavior teams to promote and execute placements with partners and direct homes.

The role requires leadership of the Coordinator, Adoptions and Placement and close collaboration across departments to ensure a balanced, humane approach to animal

Qualifications

Knowledge of companion animal behavior and welfare.
Experience leading teams or projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee adoption and placement programs for graduates.
Provide direct oversight to Coordinator, Adoptions and Placement.
Collaborate with Behavior, Operations and Medical teams to support placements.
Create SOPs and ensure compliance across the placement process.
Coordinate transportation and partner shelter onboarding when needed.
Support leadership in recruitment, coaching and staff development.
