Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from a school of medical technology, histotechnology, cytotechnology, or equivalent supervisory qualification.
• Certification by a recognized clinical laboratory certifying agency preferred.
• Licensed by NYS Department of Education as CLT, Cytotechnologist, or CHT.
• Six years of laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate and evaluate laboratory services for quality patient care.
• Supervise staffing, training, budgeting and regulatory compliance.
• Interpret and implement laboratory goals with management team.
• Ensure timely, accurate test results and data reporting.
