Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to join the Shareholder Reporting group to prepare, review and coordinate financial reports for alternative investment products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of financial services experience with an asset manager, audit firm or custodian bank, preferably in accounting operations or administration for alt investment products.
• Extensive working experience using Geneva platform for fund accounting and reporting preferred.
• Advanced accounting and operational knowledge for alternative asset classes (e.g., private debt, private equity, distressed securities).
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting standards and experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and related content for 10-K and 10-Q reporting for BDCs and nonregistered investment partnerships with a focus on private credit products.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience translating accounting data into financial statement presentation.
• Ability to lead independently and in an operations-focused, fast-paced team environment.
• Strong working knowledge of project and relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate production of financial reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance for alt investment products.
• Interact with multiple Fidelity groups and effectively represent the business to customers and business partners.
• Lead operational efficiencies to scale and automate reporting processes.
• Contribute to the development of reporting controls and quality standards across the team.
• Support onboarding and integration of new products within the reporting lifecycle.
