Job summary

Pursuit, a social impact organization, is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to lead a multi-year, state-funded initiative delivering AI-native training in New York regions with community colleges and workforce partners.

You will own partner management, reporting, and compliance, coordinating across government, education, and industry partners while driving timely execution and scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years across partnerships, grants or contract management, policy, and program operations
• Direct experience managing government funding — state, federal, or city grants or contracts
• Proven project management across externally owned workstreams
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with external deadlines

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day partner management across workforce, higher education, employer, and economic development partners
• Run partner operating rhythm with regular check-ins and status tracking
• Draft and finalize agreements with cross-functional teams
• Negotiate deliverables, timelines, and success definitions
• Manage public grants and contracts post-award through closeout
• Own reporting, compliance, and audit readiness
• Serve as primary operational contact for government partners
• Collaborate with Finance on budgets, invoicing, and payments
• Translate external commitments into internal project plans
• Drive internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Leverage AI tools to streamline operations and reporting
• Represent Pursuit in external meetings and thought leadership
