Job summary

Teradata seeks a Senior Manager - AI Platform to lead the development of a next-generation platform powering autonomous, AI-driven agents. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists and align platform capabilities with evolving AI product needs.

The role requires deep expertise in backend engineering, data science, and AI/ML platforms, with a focus on scalable, production-ready systems and collaboration across product, research, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or data science.
• 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership overseeing AI initiatives.
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform.
• Define requirements for predictive modeling, memory, planning, multi-agent collaboration, and tool orchestration.
• Design and implement core platform services including API gateways, vector store integrations, RAG pipelines, and experimentation frameworks.
• Oversee integrations with third-party tools and data science services to enable production-scale agent execution.
• Guide cloud-native development, distributed computing, observability, and security.
