Job summary

Teradata seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead UI and frontend teams building enterprise‑grade, AI‑driven experiences on Teradata’s analytics platform. You will own UI strategy, execution, and people leadership for customer‑facing interfaces used by data practitioners, developers, and platform operators.

This hands‑on engineering leader will define frontend architecture, mentor managers, and partner with Product, Design, AI and Platform teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record leading UI or full-stack teams for enterprise products.
• Deep frontend expertise with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong system design and integration with distributed backend services.
• Experience delivering products in fast-paced, platform-oriented environments.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and drive execution across boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale UI engineering teams delivering enterprise-grade applications.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture strategy for large-scale experiences (React).
• Partner with backend/platform teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Drive AI-powered user experiences and improve engineering velocity with modern tooling.
• Mentor engineering managers and senior engineers; foster ownership and quality.
• Collaborate with Product/Design to influence roadmap and requirements.
