Job summary

VF Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, AI Enablement for Enterprise FP&A to translate AI capability into workable finance solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance transformation, finance systems, or analytics, with demonstrated depth in leveraging technology (specifically AI).
• Strong working knowledge of core FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and management reporting.
• Hands-on experience building with generative AI, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented approaches, and agentic or automated workflows.
• Demonstrated track record taking an AI or automation use case from concept through deployment and measurable adoption in a business function.
• Proven project management skills, with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams to committed timelines.
• Proficiency with data and analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python, and familiarity with enterprise planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, or Anaplan.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, and build capability in others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and drive change across a global, cross-functional environment.
• Intellectual curiosity and sound judgment about AI applicability.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Execute AI projects prioritized by the VP, Enterprise FP&A and finance leadership, owning delivery from requirements through deployment and adoption.
• Translate FP&A business problems into clear solution requirements, scope, and success measures, and manage each project to committed timelines.
• Partner with DT on architecture, data access, integration, security review, and the path from prototype to supported production solution.
• Manage project workstreams across planning, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and business partnering use cases.
• Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions required, escalating issues promptly.
• Measure and report realized results after deployment, and recommend where solutions should be extended, adjusted, or retired.
• Design and build working prototypes that demonstrate value quickly, including AI-assisted analysis, narrative generation, document and data extraction, and agentic workflows.
• Test and validate AI outputs, including accuracy checks, benchmarking against current process baselines, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain prompt libraries, reusable components, and process documentation so solutions can be extended by others.
• Troubleshoot issues with deployed solutions and coordinate resolution with DT and vendors as required.
• Build AI literacy across Enterprise FP&A through training sessions, office hours, playbooks, demonstrations, and hands-on coaching.
• Share new tools, techniques, and practical use cases with the team as capabilities evolve, translating what is possible into what is useful for FP&A.
• Cultivate and support a network of champions and power users across brands and regions to extend capability beyond a single individual.
• Drive adoption of deployed solutions, monitoring usage, gathering feedback, and addressing capability gaps and resistance.

A day in the life of a Senior Manager, AI Enablement Enterprise FP&A at VF looks a little like this.

As the Sr. Manager, AI Enablement, Enterprise FP&A, you will serve as the subject matter expert who turns artificial intelligence capability into working solutions for the Enterprise FP&A organization. Partnering directly with the VP, Enterprise FP&A, you will execute the AI projects prioritized by finance leadership, taking each from requirements through prototype, deployment, and adoption in close partnership with Digital Technology (DT). Equally important, you will bring the team along, building AI literacy and hands-on capability across FP&A so that these tools become part of how the organization works rather than the specialty of one person. This is an individual contributor role that delivers through hands-on building, teaching, and influence across brands, regions, and the enterprise.

AI Project Execution and Delivery

• Execute AI projects prioritized by the VP, Enterprise FP&A and finance leadership, owning delivery from requirements through deployment and adoption
• Translate FP&A business problems into clear solution requirements, scope, and success measures, and manage each project to committed timelines

Governance Adherence and Data Readiness

• Deliver all solutions in compliance with VF AI usage standards, information security requirements, and internal control expectations
• Apply required human-in-the-loop review protocols and maintain documentation and audit trails for AI-assisted outputs used in reporting
• Surface risks encountered during delivery, including data privacy, confidentiality, model accuracy, and over-reliance, to DT, Internal Controls, and finance leadership
• Identify where data quality, structure, or access limits what AI can deliver, and partner with the appropriate owners on remediation

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance transformation, finance systems, or analytics, with demonstrated depth in leveraging technology (specifically AI) to improve processes; demonstrated capability is weighted more heavily than years of experience
• Strong working knowledge of core FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and management reporting
• Hands-on experience building with generative AI, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented approaches, and agentic or automated workflows; practical fluency matters more than formal credentials
• Demonstrated track record taking an AI or automation use case from concept through deployment and measurable adoption in a business function; candidates should be prepared to share examples of solutions they have built
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams to committed timelines
• Proficiency with data and analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python, and familiarity with enterprise planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, or Anaplan
• Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, and build capability in others, with a genuine interest in making the team better
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts and limitations clearly to finance and executive audiences
• Ability to influence and drive change without formal authority across a global, cross-functional environment
• Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment about where AI is and is not the right answer, and comfort operating in a rapidly evolving space
• Working knowledge of the outdoor, apparel, or consumer products industry preferred

$120,960.00 USD - $151,200.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
