Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in New York, NY seeks a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead the Agent Services and Tools pillar for AWS Billing.

You will own the technical strategy for the AWS FinOps Agent and related modules, building an autonomous squads organization and delivering scalable AI-powered cloud cost management. You will manage engineers, applied scientists, and product Managers, driving multi-year roadmaps, and ensuring operational health and measurable value for

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and multi-year product roadmap for the Agent Services and Tools pillar, setting direction for the AWS FinOps Agent and related components.
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive organization of software engineering managers, senior engineers, and applied scientists.
• Drive system design for agentic architectures, including runtime orchestration and context management.
• Establish customer feedback loops and operational metrics to inform roadmap priorities and ensure AI-powered experiences scale.
• Coordinate across AWS Billing and partner AWS teams to resolve cross-team dependencies and deliver integrated capabilities.
