Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking an Agentic Data Engineer to design and build data foundations for agentic AI on AMD Instinct GPU infrastructure. You will work on production-grade pipelines, memory stores, and skills libraries that enable safe, reliable agent behavior in customer deployments.

You will collaborate with Applied AI teams to deliver reference architectures and open artifacts, while ensuring data provenance, security, and scalable performance across live environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Production-grade data pipelines experience at scale.
• Experience with memory/context stores and LLM-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Build production agentic AI systems on AMD Instinct GPU infrastructure.
• Design and operate memory and context data layer for agentic apps.
• Develop and maintain the skills library for agent deployment.
• Create ingestion pipelines for deployment telemetry and knowledge.
• Build evaluation infrastructure for agentic systems and safety checks.
• Harden systems against prompt injection, data poisoning, and misuse paths.
• Collaborate with customer-facing engineers on live deployments.
