Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking an Agentic AI Systems Architecture Fellow to define the architectural vision for next-generation AI systems across AMD’s heterogeneous compute platform. This role combines deep architectural innovation with hands-on performance engineering to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.

You will work across AMD’s AI software ecosystem, collaborate with silicon and software teams, and shape roadmap priorities for enterprise, cloud, and edge deployments, influencing

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design large-scale AI infrastructure across CPUs/GPUs/DPUs, networks, and storage.
• Strong understanding of frontier foundation models, orchestration frameworks, and heterogeneous compute resources.
• Experience delivering production-grade AI architectures with focus on determinism, security, and governance.
• Familiarity with ROCm, Enterprise AI tools, and Open-source AI ecosystems.
• Recognized leadership through patents, publications, or open-source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Define AMD’s architectural vision and long-term strategy for Agentic AI with real-world use cases and PoCs.
• Architect end-to-end reference architectures optimizing heterogeneous execution across CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, networking, memory, and storage.
• Demonstrate advantages of EPYC-based platforms for agentic workloads and collaborate with silicon teams to define next-gen features.
• Develop data optimization approaches and integrate frontier foundation models with enterprise and edge deployments.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to influence AMD roadmaps and accelerate adoption of AMD AI platforms.
