Our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting to head NA accounting operations in a remote US-based role. You will collaborate with FP&A and other finance partners to strengthen variance analysis, improve controls, and guide accounting decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 8+ years of progressive accounting with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting areas.

• Understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Proven track record in process improvement and team development.
• Excellent communication for finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of North America general accounting and close activities.
• Oversee preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain understanding of key accounting flows across U.S. and Canada operations.
• Drive variance analysis and partner with FP&A to identify risks.
• Act as escalation point for accounting issues with clear recommendations.
• Develop a multi-level accounting team across various operations.
• Create an environment that values ownership, transparency, and collaboration.

This role will lead core accounting operations and close activities for a North American business with cross-border complexity. You will partner closely with FP&A and other finance stakeholders to strengthen variance analysis, improve controls, and provide clear guidance on accounting matters. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $145,000 annually
