Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Finance to lead debt and tax equity financings across the project lifecycle in its Treasury team. This role demands strong project finance and tax equity modeling experience and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

You'll work closely with the Treasurer and partner across Investment, M&A, Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Asset Management, and other teams to structure and evaluate complex renewable energy transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related field.
• 3+ years of renewable energy project finance and/or tax equity modeling experience.
• Working knowledge of partnership tax considerations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and US GAAP.
• Familiarity with HLBV preferred.
• Ability to interpret term sheets and legal documentation related to debt and partnership structures.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage debt and tax equity financings across the project lifecycle.
• Build, enhance, and maintain tax equity and debt sizing models for corporate debt, project debt, and tax equity partnership financings.
• Support strategic and long-term financial planning alongside the Treasurer.
• Develop and maintain relationships with rating agencies, lenders, external counsel, and consultants.
• Partner with M&A, Investment, Asset Management, Tax, Accounting, and FP&A teams to evaluate transaction structures, contracts, underwriting assumptions, and tax/accounting considerations.
• Contribute to the origination, structuring, and commercial negotiation of debt and tax equity transactions.
• Support tax equity tracking and onboarding models for new financings.
• Interpret term sheets and legal documentation related to debt and partnership structures.
• Interface with financial reporting, fund accounting, regulatory, tax, and technical operations teams.

This is a highly visible opportunity for a finance professional with strong project finance and tax equity modeling experience who wants to play a key role in complex transactions across the renewable energy sector.

About the Role

The Senior Manager will lead and support debt and tax equity financings throughout the project lifecycle, including development, acquisition, construction, operations, and refinancing. The role will work closely with the Treasurer and partner across Investment, Business Development, M&A, Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Asset Management, and other functions.

This individual will serve as a key subject matter expert, helping to structure transactions, evaluate opportunities, anticipate challenges, and develop solutions in a dynamic and growing organization.

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of renewable energy project finance and/or tax equity modeling experience

• Familiarity with Hypothetical Liquidation at Book Value (HLBV) preferred
• Ability to interpret and understand term sheets and legal documentation related to debt and partnership structures
