Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a professional to support the Manager of Managed Care in negotiating and maintaining managed care contracts. The role acts as a service representative for internal clients and payors, coordinating contract processes and ensuring accurate contract management systems.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of managed care or group insurance experience, including Medicaid/Medicare contracting.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum three years of managed care and group insurance experience including Medicaid/Medicare contracting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the contract process for Beacon Health System with payors and internal clients.
• Notify appropriate entities of new contracts and alterations to current contracts.
• Develop and circulate quarterly reports; prepare counter proposals as needed.
• Assist with contract negotiation/ renewal and maintain contracting systems.
• Serve as liaison with attorney on contract language; attend meetings for approvals.
