Prime Healthcare in Ontario, CA is seeking a Senior Managed Care Biller/Collector to handle billing and collections for hospital accounts, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and account closure. The role requires proactive payer follow-up and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hospital managed care billing and knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare rules, with an Associate degree or equivalent preferred. Full-time days shift, competitive benefits offered.

Competenze

• Minimum of three years hospital managed care/commercial collector experience.
• Two years of recent hospital managed care billing experience in an automated environment.
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of contract interpretation.
• Familiar with hospital billing requirements.
• Knowledge of out of state Medicaid billing guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic managed care, Medicaid/Medicare billing rules, regulations, and deadlines.
• Working experience with all payer types including commercial, governmental, Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, etc.

Mansioni

• Billing and collections from payer guidelines to account closure.
• Maintain deficiency lists to obtain missing documents from internal or external entities.
• Resolve claim rejections and package claims with attachments of professional fee claims.
• Perform proactive follow up with payers and other entities to secure payment.
