It offers full-time status with day shifts. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in hospital managed care billing, experience with automated systems, and knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare rules

Competenze

• Minimum of three years hospital managed care/commercial collector experience.
• Two years of recent hospital managed care billing in an automated environment.
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements.
• Familiar with out of state Medicaid billing guidelines.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare rules, regulations, and deadlines.
• Experience with all payer types including commercial, governmental, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Mansioni

• Bill and collect for managed care accounts according to payer guidelines and compliance.
• Maintain deficiency lists to obtain missing documents from internal or external entities.
• Resolve claim rejections and packaging claims with attachments for professional and global billing.
• Proactive follow up with payers to secure payment of accounts.
• Ensure billing through account closure and accurate adherence to policies.
