Description

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs mammographic procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. Performs mammography procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

  • Upon hire: California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification.

  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.

  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

  • 2 years Experience in a clinical or hospital environment.

  • 1 year Clinical mammography experience.
