Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography to perform a range of breast imaging procedures in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

You will produce high-quality images, interact with patients compassionately, and conduct required MQSA and FDA quality control tasks under supervision. This role supports fixed or mobile mammography services and contributes to a patient-focused care culture.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Registry or equivalent credential required.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license required on hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association on hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography required on hire.
• National Registered Mammography Technologist within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiologic procedures specific to breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, fixed or mobile.
• Produce high-quality radiographic images with compassionate patient care.
• Perform required MQSA and FDA quality control activities as designated.

Description

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA either as designated Quality Control technologist as under their direction.

Required Qualifications:

• Formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of full-time mammography.
