Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Mammography Radiologic Technologist to provide superior patient care while performing all Mammography procedures and related duties in a fast-paced radiology department.

The role requires certification and Massachusetts licensure in Radiologic Technology, Mammography, and ARRT certification, with a focus on quality control and interventional support.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• In depth knowledge of Mammography imaging procedures.
• Must have excellent communication skills to lead other health care workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to patients and internal/external clients.
• Perform all duties of a staff Radiologic Technologist in Mammography.
• Maintain documentation of specialized training and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and perform daily quality control for Mammography.
• Assist radiologist during interventional Mammographic procedures.
• Ensure proper billing, report transcription, and film retrieval.
