Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in mammography as a technologist.
• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
• Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the ARRT.
• Mammography registration issued by the ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource to employees and students, providing training and work direction.
• Assists with interviewing and selection of new employees.
• Monitors and reviews performance within the department.
• Facilitates clinical problem solving and collaborates across departments.
• Performs mammography examinations and evaluates images.

Advanced knowledge of the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA)

Advanced knowledge of accreditation policies
