Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, review clinical information, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role requires advanced MQSA knowledge, ARRT Mammography certification, Wisconsin radiographer licensure, and strong communication and leadership skills to manage staff and ensure safety in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• Advanced MQSA knowledge and radiation safety
• Experience with accreditation processes in radiology
• Demonstrated leadership, delegation and prioritization

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced screening, diagnostic and invasive mammography exams.
• Review patient history, lab results and orders to obtain necessary clinical information.
• Coordinate with Radiologists and other staff to ensure accurate exam completion and documentation.
• Maintain and input records in radiology information systems and record billing codes.
• Ensure equipment QA tests, report malfunctions and participate in equipment evaluation.
